The school works in partnership with parents and families to support children in every possible way. Safeguarding is a key priority. Legislation places a clear responsibility on the school to ensure that it works together with other agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. This is in line with Hertfordshire policy to which the school subscribes. Where necessary, cases will be referred to the investigative agencies in the interests of the child. Croxley Danes School has a Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy. A copy is available on the website here.
The Designated Senior Leader for Child Protection (DSL) is Mr David Dwight (Deputy Headteacher). Two further Deputy DSLs support students - Mr Winston Carnegie (Student Wellbeing Support Officer) and Mrs Ros Godfrey (Pastoral Support Officer). The safeguarding team can be reached via safeguarding@croxleydanes.herts.sch.uk.
