Pastoral Care
Students are supported by the following members of staff:
Form Tutor
Students see their Form Tutor in the morning at registration. Form Tutors are the first port of call if there are any issues or problems.
Head of Year 7, Mr Wheatley
The Head of Year 7 has oversight of the whole year group.
Head of Key Stage 3, Mr Craig
The Head of Key Stage 3 has oversight of Years 7, 8 and 9.
Pastoral Support Officers, Mr Carnegie (Student Wellbeing Support Officer) and Mrs Godfrey (Pastoral Support Officer).
School Counsellors, Mrs Robinson and Mrs Hanson
Mrs Robinson and Mrs Hanson work at school to support student well-being. Students are referred to them through the pastoral system.
Medical Administrators, Mrs Carter
The Medical and Pastoral Support Officer provides support for vulnerable students with specific medical needs.
Attendance Officers, Miss Bowker and Mrs Corbin
The attendance officer tracks and monitors each students attendance and provides support where needed.
Chessbrook Education Support Centre
An outreach person visits the school once a week to support a number of students with emotional and prosocial behaviour skills.
Parent Workshop/Themed Evenings
The school arranges a number of parent workshops and themed evenings throughout the year. Details will be published in the autumn term.
Parents can either leave a message on voicemail for a member of staff or email enquiries@croxleydanes.herts.sch.uk where their query will be directed to the relevant member of staff.
